Currently, there are fundamentally two types of fundraising mechanisms (before the ICO/IDO stage) for VCs out of which only one way is popular, the one with popularity is the traditional model where investors invest in startups at one go, and the other is a DAO investing together. It is the latter one we’re more inclined towards but with a new solution and approach to making the entire fundraising process more efficient.

With DStarter, investors’ funds and projects’ tokens are escrowed in a smart contract and are released in the decided proportion at the end of each milestone. VCs/Investors are entitled to make the vote as part of IMO DAO, but for each pool, the voting rights are limited to the investing members of that particular pool. We term this fundraising model for Web3 Startups and VCs as Initial Milestone Offering.
